Dame Jenni Murray, broadcaster and writer, began her career on BBC Radio Bristol’s Compass programme, then moved to Southampton’s South Today, and finally broadcast with national TV and radio on Newsnight and the Today programme. For 33 years from 1987, she presented Woman’s Hour, and now is a weekly columnist for the Daily Mail, and monthly writer for Saga. She has published several books including Memoirs of a Not So Dutiful Daughter, Fat Cow Fat Chance, and A History of the World in 21 Women.
She will be in conversation with Helen Taylor about her distinguished career and recent move into journalism and popular writing.
