An illustrated talk by Dr John Robson Don’t Touch…. fingerprints

May 8 at 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

Dr John Robson’s talk on forensic dentistry ‘Some-Body Forensic Identification’ last November was a sell-out. We are delighted that Dr Robson is available to present another fascinating talk. In this, his second talk for FoCCaL, a light is shed on fingerprints…Their history and classification are described …Why are fingerprints unique? How are fingerprints are used in practice? …is it only DNA that can solve cold cases? Some fascinating cases are described including the first case where fingerprints were used to affect a conviction.

The talk starts at 7pm and the bar opens at 6.30pm. Cost of tickets is £5 and they are available on line using the link below or on the door.
