TALKING LIBERTIES; A showcase of uplifting, liberating poetry from a diversity of voices hosted by BOB WALTON & SUE HILL

Bristol is a city of amazing poetic talent and ‘Talking Liberties’ presents a brilliant showcase of some of the finest poets in town, featuring the wondrous work and words of Edson Burton, Stephen Lightbrown, Elizabeth Parker, Caleb Parkin, Muneera Pilgrim and Tom Sastry. Prepare to have your breath taken away by the energy, flair and diversity of voices from this stellar line-up. Every poet published to acclaim, locally and nationally. Every poet hugely experienced in reading and performing their poems with vigour and passion. Prepare to be challenged. Prepare to be carried away on flights of imagination. Prepare to be entertained. Prepare to be uplifted by the power of poetry to move you deeply. And join us at what will surely be one of the poetry events of the year.

This event will be in the Meeting Room, Clifton Library and it starts at 2pm. There will be an interval (with bar) at 3pm. The event finishes at 4.15pm
